Select Directories According to Directories Ranking
You can start submitting your blog to directories according to the list below, or you can start with the highest ranked directories first and work your way down the list. Some bloggers feel that listing a blog in a directory that has a higher ranking will return better search engine results for your blog as compared to a directory with a lower listing. How many blogs you list with is your decision and will probably be based on the amount of time you have and maybe how many blogs you manage.

If you want to list a 2nd blog, you’ll need to create a 2nd user id and password. Works good for one blog, multiple blog listings not so easy!

- lsblogs – requires you to drill into the directory to the bottom most level and then click the submit button for the category of your blog. I’m dense and couldn’t get this to work. I also have a pet peeve against directories such as this.(DMOZ is the same way for yahoo and others, seems inefficient to me but does have some valid purpose.
- Memigo – requires an account, only allows one blog. Works kind of like a simple version of Digg. You rate articles as they come in (either through direct submission or through your blog’s feed) The higher the rating the longer it will be listed in Memigo. If you get no support on an article it gets rejected.

- Postami – Individual RSS feed can be submitted, must be in xml format, so my feedburner address did not work, but when I tried an atom feed in xml format that did not work either. They do offer up a paid option where they will submit your feed to 76 different directories for about $25.(most of those directories are in our listings if you want to do them individually for free. They all will be here before long!)
- Pubsub - Let’s face it we all like easy. submission here is easy! Just copy paste your feed and hit a button. If that’s not easy enough because you have more than one feed, then download your OPML file from feedburner and upload the file to Pubsub, effectively entering or updating all of your blog feeds in one shot.
